Armenia and the US Chamber of Commerce discussed new directions for economic cooperation, focusing on several key sectors for the country.

Acting Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan met with Kush Choksi, Senior Vice President of the US Chamber of Commerce for International Affairs, Middle East, Turkey, and Central Asia. The main topic of the negotiations was the prospects for further development and institutionalization of cooperation.

The parties considered opportunities for expanding cooperation in trade and economic spheres, agriculture, energy, and information technologies. The development of IT and energy sectors, as well as strengthening trade ties between Armenia and the USA, could be of particular importance for future joint projects.
