On August 10, 2026, NVIDIA announced a partnership with Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR. The parties plan to create financial platforms capable of attracting over $500 billion in third-party capital for the development of artificial intelligence infrastructure.
However, this is not yet about guaranteed investments. The signed memoranda of understanding require further development and the conclusion of final agreements. The specific obligations of the participants and the timeline for attracting the entire declared amount have not yet been disclosed. NVIDIA, according to Jensen Huang, is potentially ready to provide support for deals totaling up to $125 billion – a quarter of the proposed funding.
Thus, the construction of AI data centers is gradually ceasing to be solely the task of large technology companies. Institutional investors are actively looking at these projects, considering computing infrastructure as an independent asset class with the potential for long-term and predictable cash flow.
